Hey! First off, Screw "frequent updates", we're far too disorganised for that!
Head over to the Movies page, and you'll find a new podcast section, before the films. Click on the big "Grind1 Film Podcast" button, and you'll subscribe to it on iTunes. And if you don't have iTunes, then... We have no idea what'll happen! If the button fails, then search "The Grind1 Film Podcast" on the iTunes Store and you'll be able to find it this way (Y). Oh, and sorry Zen users, there won't be a "Windows Media Zencast" now, or ever... (well, maybe at some point) No matter, you can still catch them on the Tube as per usual.
Right, and incase all of this means NOTHING to you, this is all about the new podcast for iTunes by Grind1, where we'll be releasing films weekly (or fortnightly!) for you to download onto your 'pod. Simple. (In case you need any more explanation, just, uh, Google "podcast")
Also, we've been working on a script for The Law: Episode 5, and we're convinced this is gonna be the best one yet, but we don't want to hype it up and disappoint you (like Haze on the PS3... Ugh...).
We bet you're wondering what the "in Dublin" part of the title is all about, and we'll tell you! We're going to see Muse tomorrow at Marlay Park! Sweet! So we'll be here from the 12th to the 14th. And, as a bonus, we feel like blogging all the stupid crap we say and do throughout the next few days! Enjoy, if you want..?
Day one:
1. Well, Jack got frisked at the airport before boarding. It was so funny Jack didn't even hear the alarm go off, then the next thing he knows, he's being touched up by a fat security guard.
2. We then decided that if Connor were to walk through the metal-detector, the thing would break cos' he's soo METAL! All that Nile and... whatever, in his brain. He might literally have a Machine Head... (Definitely Garry's joke)
3. Next, we saw this guy who looks so much like Andy Samberg it's unbelievable. Every time we looked at his face, we laughed. We miss him...
4. As a result of no. 3, we spent the rest of the day shouting "Stunt It!" at inappropriate moments (it's a phrase from "Hot Rod" starring Andy) 5. In the middle of the streets of Dublin, there's this huge pole standing tall. It has no importance what-so-ever as far as we know. Jack claims he's going to climb it one day... Garry disagrees... 6. Jack - "Wow, look Garry, they have neds here too!"
Garry - "..." 7. We walked by a bin, that had the most offensive but, effective anti-litter campaign. It said "LITTER IS DISGUSTING. SO ARE THOSE RESPONISBLE" We didn't know what kind of person finds an empty bag of crisps disgusting and throws up on it... Strange... 8. Garry ordered some "chicken strippers" from Domino's Pizza cos' he hates everything else on the menu. They didn't turn out quite what he expected... 9. He also mistakenly arrived at the door of some dodgy French-Lady-types. "Our room is '328' and Jack's room is '230'. But, I went up to room '430' instead... I don't know why..." They then looked at him and told him he was "too young". For what we don't quite know...
Day Two:
1. Garry fell asleep
on an Irishman on the bus. 2. Advertised "www.grind1.co.uk" in PC World on a €1,500 touch-screen computer in Paint. 3. Gavin nearly got his head stuck in a lift door. 4. Colin: "Aah, you sprayed me with Sprite!"
Jack: "I'll spray you with punches!" 5.
Jack: "These chips taste crap without vinegar"
Garry: "Put some on the chips then."
Jack: "Nah, I don't like vinegar..." 6. "Many Obese Undertakers Shave Evan = MOUSE" 7. Matt Bellamy: "Guitars sound better when they're on your head!" 8. Jack: "These urinals are really weird"
Garry: "I've pee'd on worse"
Jack: "You can't even wash your hands, let's just not shake any hands..."
Garry: "Yeah, or your noodles..." 9. Yeah, Jack bought 10euro "Wok n' Roll" noodles
at a Muse gig. 10. Both Muse and noodles rocked!
Day Three:
1. "How can you drink a chocolate pint? 2. "Jack was frisked a grand total of three times" 3. "What else have we said that I can write down for the blog?"
"Nothing, we've been silent all day" 4. "Guinness
is as black as my soul" 5. We saw a grand total of 5 Andy Sambergs. 6. "Hey Jack,
my hand is a pint!" 7. Jack: "Sorry boys, I believe I won that race."
Garry: "What is it with you and pee?"
Colin: "He likes to drink it." 8. Jack was typing this like a idiot on the plane because it was so cramped. 10. Jack randomly started clapping at the end of the flight home, and soon almost everyone on the plane was clapping. Except Garry. 11. We didn't want to come home.
There we go, hope it was worth it! ;]

In 10 days, it will be 1 month since the last blog. Jack said, in the previous blog, "oh, and how's that for "updating more" Garry?" Well Jack, it's not going too well. So, if going to save you by writing this one (I don't really know what i meant by that)...
Anyway, the real deal why im writing is to tell you all that, THE LAW 4 IS FINALLY ON YOUTUBE!!! And it's about time too. The Law Ep3 was put on YouTube on the 10th of October. And The Law Ep4 just got put on the net 2 days ago. That's almost 9 months since the last installment oh The Law. Yuck...
So go watch and enjoy the new one! We should get the final one done fairly soon so we can focus more on Rash for the summa'. Last weekend, we went out "PsychoBoarding" and we can't we cant wait to finish that and show everyone Jack falling on his... arse! It was some laugh.
I'll go now. You should also suggest things for us to do for Rash. You would get a mention in the video too. "Idea by...Yer Maw"... whatever.

Alright, I know it's only been a week since Garry's blog, but something seriously blog-worthy just happened. Like, one of the most blog-worthy things ever to happen to this site.
Wow, I really like saying that. Blog-worthy.
Anyway, I added another page onto the site, called the "Rash" page, and that's where we'll have links to Rash videos that are on YouTube, another 'comments' block for Rash-related suggestions, and maybe some of our own Rash ideas too. Who knows?!?!?
Well, that's it really, just a short blog in case you didn't notice it before. But you should still read Garry's one down there, cos' it's a bit better than this one and probably a lot more interesting.

Yeah, well we've been quite busy recently. Our main focus of filming has been Rash. But we've also got exams now! Arghhhh! I've edited the eagerly anticipated (we hope) Law 4 as much as I can. We need to go out and finish that someday soon. People need more uniforms...
Oh yeah, thanks for asking... Rash is coming along good. We've already done a couple of parts with the team. Three are going to be on Youtube soon. We still have lots of good ideas in mind, but im not going to share any. Just wait and see... But the guys rejected my idea of jumping onto a giant spring. They said "it's not possible". But they'll see...
Well thats all this month. Jack said he's going to update more. But I don't believe him. There's no more to say except, I'm listening to Deftones right now... yeah!

Okay, despite what we said last blog (a whole year ago! well, not really...), we've still only just started filming the Law 4, and it probably won't be done for at least another two weeks, BUT, that's not really what this blog is about!
Rash! Remember that? No? Oh, well, Rash is/was basically that mad film we were making that was like Jackass and stuff. Yeah that's Rash.
And, recently, we thought it would be cooler if some more people were in it, so we've sort of recruited several folk to the Rash team! Say hi to Sandy, Jeb, Iain and Ross (the bloke that was in Pimp my Ride, you know, the decals man).
They're all pretty mental.
So anyway, that's all! Expect the Law 4 to be on YouTube fairly soon, and also expect new Rash clips! It's gonna be rad/gnarly/spiffing/sweet!

23:15 18/12/2007 Prelims - For Real Men - BlogTen. How Long's it been since the Law 3 eh?
"One... Two... OMG TWO MONTHS!?!?!?!?"
I felt like we needed a new blog, despite nothing has really changed since Connor's inspiring contribution two months ago, so let's make this quick...
We've been busy sitting prelims for Standard Grades for the past few weeks, so we didn't have enough time on our hands to make the Law 4, but expect the two conclusive episodes over the Christmas break.
I also need a new pair of sunglasses (which are harder to replace than you'd think, considering it's Winter), and Connor seemed to think that it would be logical to rip his tie apart, so we'll need to shop for some new props before we film again aswell.
"Big Moe's Phat Wrap" is well-under way, and we'll be releasing it after The Law 5.
Who knows, we might even put the beats up for download!
I know a year ago we said there would be t-shirts, but, uh, it hasn't really happened yet...

But it's been ages, and I like to blog.

There's a new comment system-thang-what on the stuff page, so pop over and try it.
It's just for anyone who visits this site every-so-often can share views, and also to tell us whether we're crap or not.
And also when, if I can ever be bothered, I start hosting our films on this actual site there will be a wee rating system too, so you can, er, tell us whether their crap or not as well.
Wow, I am paranoid.
Anyway, it's kind of like YouTube, what with the stars...
If there are no votes I'll be seriously depressed.

Hello everyone, for once Garry is going to write a blog. This time it's all about our videos n' stuff.
Ugh, where to begin? Well, we have some ideas now for upcoming videos. Such as:
The untitled Cops movie.
Big Moe's Fat Rap
A Room Randomness (to celebrate 1 year of GrIND[1])
Maybe another "Great Phiste Shindig" (but not for a while)
And more while be announced when we think of them.
We had some ideas for videos and made them in the past. But, when we filmed them they didn't turn out as expected. Some of these were:
The wrestling Movie
The Hedge Olympics
Hobo Tales (might re-make that)
The Sleepover Video (absolute crap!)
And October Sledding.
I think they were good ideas (except the sleepover thang), but they just didn't turn out we wanted them to on the camera. I mean, the wrestling video had wrestlers, Hobo Tales had hobos, October sledding was about sledding (in October), The Hedge Olympics had Hedge-related athletics, but the sleepover video only had sleepy people. BORING!!!
Well anyway that's basically what's planned and what we had planned, for videos. And what we had planned for videos. So if you need anymore info on videos and stuff you know where to go. What? You don't? Oh, well, for info on the cops movie, there's posters in our "snapshots" page. For info on Big Moe's Fat Rap, I think Jack might but the lyrics on the 'stuff' page. We dont know about TGPS yet, so just imagine what might happen or something. And just be patient for Room Randomness, it will be released on 23 July 2007.
So that's it from me right now, maybe I'll write another blog some other time, but not now.

It's been almost four months since I updated last. Slap me.
But, if you check your browser, you'll notice that I finally moved the website-hosting-thing. Go Jack.
But enough about me, lets talk about GrIND1. That's why you're here, right?
Well, all I've really done is make the site a bit sexier, with the new flash banner at the top, new movies in the Movies page, more panels on the left, etc.
And I demolished the Contact page, cos' it was just a waste of space =]
And, speaking of the new-sidepanels-on-the-left, there's now a "latest movie" bit, so if you wanna know what the latest film is, well, you know...
Oh, and Connor wants a shoutbox, so I'll try and get that done. And I'm working on a new snapshots flash slideshow.
Acht, I've probably forgotten some things I meant to say, but I'll only regret it later...

New Host Plans...
Yeah, so we're planning on changing website hosts from Freewebs (cos' it's kinda crap) to 1and1.co.uk. Mainly because it's a bit more professional having a .co.uk rather than piggy-backing on Freewebs all the time. So, now there's no more Christmas shopping to be done, we can split the cost for the entire year.
The main problem, though, is that it's gonna be a pain changing accounts, changing the hosting of our site-related files, etc. etc. etc.
You get my point...

Hey again, just updating a few things...
I've been working on the site everytime I've gone onto the computer, so quite a bit of work's been done. I've updated the Movies page (well, updated it a few times, cos' there's been tons of errors), and made a random part of the site (at a very popular request from Garry) where lots of random pics will be. It's actually just a part of the contacts page, cos' it didn't have a lot on it. You can send us your own pic that you'd like to see on the page, but you can read all about that on the actual page. There's pics and personal comments on the members page now, and I've been trying to make the Snapshots page a bit fancier, but nothings working...

Hey! Welcome to the new GrIND1 site! GrIND1 is an amateur movie-making company thing made up of Jack Butler, Connor Heath and Garry Rooney. Currently we're making a DVD called "Rash". It's a Jackass style movie with basically alot of stunts, jumps, skateboarding, and stupid "shenanigans" By us three. We've been working on it since Easter and we're not quite sure when It'll be finished, but it's a work in progress.
But we do post non-Rash-related vids, which will be put on the videos page along with other already-edited clips from Rash.
Anyway, that's about it so far, so expect regular updates, cos' it's the summer and I get bored. Peace-out! - Jack
